Any school year 8 kids looking for a team, we have a team struggling for players. They have a good group of kids and committed manager but struggling for numbers. Sat 28th Vs Warbreck Madrid @_MYFL Whole team worked hard in a good competitive game. This resulted in the boys coming back from 1:0 down to win 2:1. MotM was Jayden showing his pace up front and scoring both goals. @MCSoccerSchools @CablesJFC

I’d love a solution also. Midweeks during the season are so difficult getting refs who mostly are all in work mon-Fri to come from work is a task in itself. Commitee members who already give up endless hours and have their own families / jobs etc also then giving up hours midweek and travelling to and from venues it’s a nightmare and we all have the same issues each season this season so far imo has been much wetter and caused lots of issues with council closures. Long term lease from the council to the leagues would help but they are reluctant at least then leagues could potentially apply for outside funding to make improvements to the grounds as the council don’t do anything really. It’s frustrating all around and esp for league officials also who have to spend time rescheduling we all want kids to play and get the frustration it’s just equally annoying when the league get grief for council facilities being closed

Years ago councils used to put extra from their budget into the playing facilities, on top of money generated by rentals. Now sadly the money from rentals will be used for other un-related services. That’s where a private business would be able to provide a better service. 4g sites a different entity - they are so expensive because they cost millions in the first instance and then again after 15 years.

The post below has had alot of likes/shares/comments however the FA needs to 1 of 2 things 1- Move the grassroots season 2- Invest more £money into affordable in/out door facilities But doing nothing and burying their heads in the sand is not a option anymore

Rant sorry ** but if your a dog owner and walk them and let them 💩 all over the place, especially on pitches kids have to play on and don’t clean up after them your a massive clown. Kids teams paying council fees to play on designated playing fields and locals letting thier dogs use the pitches as a toilet

Sat 24th Vs Crest EIM @_MYFL A decent start from the boys got us an early lead. However, Crest equalised before half time and the boys were just not in it second half. MotM was Lucas, who scored the goal and battled throughout the whole game. @MCSoccerSchools @CablesJFC

League meeting for all our members Monday 2nd Feb 6.30pm @ the rainhill ex services club - Meeting to go over league plans for remainder of the season and 26/27 season inc the FA changes as detailed in FA future fit We will not be running 3v3 at U7s after consulting with our members and will run U8 development
