So essentially the idea that we build up better with Trafford or that he’s better with his feet/passing is actually statistically… false?

Long passes attempted and completed by James Trafford this season, game-by-game. Completion of 31.1% for long passes this season. Only including games with 10+ attempts, it drops to 28.7% By comparison, Donnarumma averages 44.9% long pass completion, and when only including games with 10+ attempts, a slight drop ot 43.3% For passes that go into the opposition half. Trafford averages 20.4% completion compared to the 30.4% of Donnarumma. Ederson last season in the Premier League averaged 58% for long passes and 43% for passes into the opposition half.

@FussballDan but the case for the opposite is that we're generally late bloomers, looks like they're focusing on stability first before working on the attack, rodri is still cooked, cherki + marmoush not played a part and reindjers is still a bit lost.

@FussballDan Its Arsenals 🏆. Liverpool could make it interesting if they sort out their issues fast (doubtful), but I think we are not good enough. The Haaland dependence is worrying and we've yet to pass any real test imo (Arsenal we played underdog football, Napoli 10 men, United united).

Sunday's performance wasn't pretty from #MCFC, and the late equaliser was a kick in the teeth, but the approach and result showed encouraging signs of progress.

Reminder, 🔴 = bad/getting exposed. Safe to say, think City have room to improve in their pressing, and particularly when they transition from mid block into a press.

@savage_agi Just getting involved in this space and find this an interesting take... just wondering: if your knowledge base were natively a graph of entities+relations (rather than flattened into vectors), could GraphRAGs subgraph retrieval & path-aware reasoning make it possibly worthwhile?
