It’s been an exciting day - very happy to share that FATE: Reawakened was announced earlier today! I’ve been working on the announcement of this project with the team for quite some time, and I’m stoked to finally put it in front of FATE’s passionate fans.

@VioletRoseW101 That artwork was handrawn by an in-house artist on my team. No ai was used in the creation of it. The eye is different because of the glow from the wand, she has 5 fingers, and the far right character not being fully shown was a stylistic choice.

Our best kept secret. I’m SO excited to announce that we’re making a brand new game set in the Spiral. The team has worked so hard on this game and the announcement and I can’t wait to show you more!

@OneinEmmilion @ChrisDeathRider @FireswordJason You could’ve in theory rejected the offer to go to WIMO, but then you’d be unemployed. Same with staying at KI after the acquisition. You could’ve chosen to leave on your own … but you probably wouldn’t want to without a job lined up.

@OneinEmmilion @ChrisDeathRider @FireswordJason This is inaccurate. When the acquisition happened, you were told 1 of 3 things: 1. You’re staying with KI 2. You’re going to WIMO 3. You’re getting laid off Nobody had a choice of where they went.

So unfortunate that the suits that were at fault for Pirate being treated the way it was in favor of fruitless mobile development are the same ones that went on to found WIMO and take a bunch of talented people away from KI to do the same thing, ultimately leaving them jobless.

Thought I’d share a fun office thing (thread) There is a Rainbow Piggle plushie that lives on a chair in my office (with a little note). But, if people need to talk with me, they have to move him so they can sit in the chair for the meeting.

@_Mythdust NGL I’m jealous of all of your W101 plushies. I didn’t realize there were so many!

My coworkers have been moving this plushie back and forth since September y’all. The dedication is incredible.

The incredible part is, without fail, everyone always puts the piggle back on the chair when they leave my office. I never ask people to either! It just happens. People recognize Rainbow Piggle deserves his throne and put him back in his rightful place.

@ghos95 @Makeship @Wizard101 We’ve also extended the timer before on other plushies in the past, so this isn’t the first time we’ve done this.

@ghos95 @Makeship @Wizard101 Extending a campaign is not going to change the fact that the plush is “limited time only.” Sometimes we need to extend the timer for internal reasons, but it’s a still a limited time plush no matter how long the timer is. These Makeship plushies have never been sold a 2nd time.

I'm unaware if this is a common occurrence with @Makeship limited edition items but... @Wizard101 just added 5 more days to the Riley Plushie's "Available for a limited time only!" countdown. This makes me a bit worried for the precedent this is creating for the future of wizard101 collectibles. From what I have observed they usually have a 27 Day countdown and that's that. Out of their past 14 campaigns on Makeship this was looking to become their most limited production thus far with that title previously being held by the El Toro Plush at 237% funding and just 475 being made. @_Mythdust (the head of marketing at KI) recently posted about the success the 1st edition Arc1 Vinyl had selling out in just over 5mins. Following this she said, "Very excited to be exploring more physical merch like this." This of course is very exciting to see that more physical merch is being looked into for the future and I cannot wait to see what else they come up with. But... brand trust matters, "the amount of respect and loyalty customers have for your brand, or how strongly they believe you can deliver on your promises,"(…cprofessional.medill.northwestern.edu/blog/what-is-b…). I don't think it is particularly fair to say to your customer "Available for a limited time only!" and then with ~2days left in the month long campaign add another 5 days to the timer. In this case, the additional time added could turn out to be an insignificant change that results in a very small shift in the exclusivity of the item and nobody gets hurt. However. My hope is that this situation can be deliberately avoided in the exciting future of wizard101 merch so we don't ever have to witness what can happen if the situation were to blow up in the other direction.

@CosmicKlover How awesome - small world! Happy you like the game! Yeah, I was a longtime fan before being hired. I’ve been working on W101 & P101 for ~4 years now and still love it. I currently lead the Marketing dept so anything public facing you see, there’s a 95% chance my team touched it.

@_Mythdust Okay, so, I have no idea how to use x but I wanted to share my excitement. My name is klover and my bf sister is married to your brother and he told me how your involved with wizards 101 and I cannot tell you how addicted to wizards 101 I am. 😭 I started in 2010 I believe.
