We were at the @_NCOSS_ post-budget event this morning, where NSW Treasurer @dmookheyMLC highlighted a historic commitment to increasing social housing. Advocacy does work, and the sector was rightly recognised for its work in putting housing at the top of the list. #moretodo

NCOSS board president John Robertson makes final remarks. "Today I heard a lot of the challenges this sector confronts. Persistence can pay off. This sector has been campaigning for portable long service leave for 15 years, and it’s finally happened. Ultimately we can succeed."
