I can't believe I get to say this, it's a dream come true that I have my first ever article in the latest issue of @empiremagazine. I was lucky enough to interview the director of the upcoming MCU show I Am Groot. Thank you @BethKWebb for this opportunity and for your support.

I'll need to be cautious for the next few months, but it will all be worth it. The doctors have told me it can be cured. This is my first step towards getting better. Let's burn this cancer to the fucking ground.

The silver lining is getting to talk people I've not spoken to in years. It's been incredible. Today is the first day of chemotherapy, and I'm a bit nervous. Lizzie is kindly coming with me, so at least I'll get to annoy her for the whole time.

Thank you to everyone for the birthday love and those who have wished me well after my cancer diagnosis. The messages I've received about other people's cancer experiences have been unbelievable and humbling but also helpful to know what to expect.

Life doesn't give a shit about your plans. So make sure you check your lumps. You never know.

The next few months are going to be extremely difficult, and not just for me, but I know I have a lot of support around me, in particular Lizzie. She's been incredible beyond belief. Thank you to every single person who has already shown me so much love and support.

I don't normally share stuff like this, but I want you all to know what's happening with me right now. Towards the end of last year, I discovered a lump on my neck, so I had it checked at the GP. I was then referred to the hospital for an ultrasound scan.

What a great way to watch Beauty and the Beast, at @BFI with an introduction by @BenSTravis and @samsummers0 from @Disniversity. Great film, and an excellent podcast!
