@aarondfrancis This but hosted on a mac mini and remotely accessible via my phone and laptop so my AI army can never stop building?

Something I didn't expect was people running their Claudes, Vim, Codex, etc *inside* of Solo. I need to add better affordances for that. Also that makes me think Solo could be bigger than I originally imagined?

Abusing @aarondfrancis Solo app to not just organize processes but keep all my Claudes organized and easily accessible across projects rather than a terminal window with 10 tabs. Think I like it so far.

@_RyKi_ In principle, yes, the kernel supports lofts. We do not have client support yet. We can easily add it to buerli-headless as an api that lets you pick splines. To make this interactive in the modeller will be harder since the process is quite elaborate.

This is the origin of react-three-fiber, the reason why i started writing it. So thrilled that FINALLY we are getting close to releasing it. Think of Buerli as a Blender for the web, a parametric one. It will allow you to build, assemble & configure your products, in the web. →

@alecdotbiz Glad you like it! I really needed something schemaless with graph traversal for my project but I find it so flexible and easy to use my might use it for everything going forward.

@alecdotbiz I'm not sure what your needs are but I've been really liking ArangoDB lately. Particularly for relationship traversal - and it's open source.

Just built a couple of React hooks (with @GeekJamuar) to simplify keyboard shortcuts & mapping. Define keys and commands at the app level and use it down the tree for focus, routing and side-effects.

@lojjic This is pretty amazing. Do you have some sample code of the TextMesh component working in three.js? I'm currently using mattdesl's three-bmfont-text but am having trouble making things look nice in windows.

Working on experimental support in troika-3d-text for multiple color ranges within a text block. Could enable syntax highlighting etc. #threejs #troikajs

@DavidKPiano I've been think this might be the most effective way to manage state recently. There doesn't seem to be a lot of libraries taking this approach. I wonder if anyone has a reason why this is bad idea?

Random framework thought: Rerendering every component on every update is the most expensive - O(n³) Reconciliation and diffing (with heuristics) is still somewhat expensive - O(n) Components notifying root "I need to rerender" can potentially be much less expensive - O(1)

I wrote a new blog post! LCH colors in CSS: What, why, and how? lea.verou.me/2020/04/lch-co… Describes what LCH colors are, why they're exciting, and releases an LCH color picker tool I made to visualize!

So uh... what happens AFTER the lockdown? I'm collaborating with epidemiologist @marcelsalathe on a *playable simulation* of a few proposed COVID-19 strategies... including the bad ones. Coming soon! Video of our prototype below:👇

Singapore & South Korea have *already* controlled #COVID19, all without massive shutdowns! (& US/Europe can do the same AFTER suppressing cases for 1-2mo) How? By staying #OneStepAhead with: 🔗CONTACT TRACING🔗 (See pix below! Collab with epidemiologist @MarcelSalathe) 🧵 1/6

threejs users, check this out: github.com/ryanking1809/t… @_RyKi_ made a fork of the THREE.MeshLine project for better thick lines, but this one has raycast support (pixel perfect and threshold), supports buffergeom, and has a better api. live demo: codesandbox.io/s/react-three-…
