@billiob I came across FiraCode font lately and it's pretty fantastic to use in IDE. It does not appear the ligatures are properly supported by #Terminology, do you have any plan to add support for them ?

@DrCyco Sadly, it's not supporting ligatures. To support it, we need to rewrite the textgrid (part of EFL) and that's quite some work. It is not planned at the moment but hopefully, we'll have it some day!

@_Terminology_ Btw, does Terminology support ligatures? I'm using a ligature font (JetBrains Mono) and it's not showing ligatures. It works fine on kitty terminal. If there is no support, is it planned in a future release, or is it something you will never support?

@DrCyco Since Terminology uses fontconfig, you should configure fontconfig to do it.

@_Terminology_ Everything is Marvelous, but I don't see an option to set fallback fonts anywhere. Is it not implemented? I'd like to set MesloLGS NF as my main font (for powerlevel10k glyphs) and Typicons as fallback (for certain icons).

@TheFluxApex @9to5linux @Jocix84 @_Enlightenment_ I don't know how you could enable it in Gnome. It is possible in @_Enlightenment_ though. One could want to have an easy access to any other app, like a scratchpad, their agenda, a todo list / productivity tracker…
