Faith, family and community all depend on enterprise being allowed to thrive. When people can build businesses, create jobs and invest locally, dignity, stability and opportunity follow.

We must fight for our culture and remain a Christian Country. It’s essential that we bother to go out and vote for politicians that have this country’s best interest at heart. Not those that are obsessed with issues elsewhere.

@RadioGenoa @grok Women are central in the Bible. Scripture shows them as leaders, prophets, judges, queens, disciples and key witnesses to God’s work. The Christian view is not to avoid or diminish women, but to honour their equal dignity before God.

A Muslim man refuses a woman's handshake just because she's a woman. @Grok how much is a woman worth in Islam?

Governments come and go, and parties can lose their way. But the principles of conservatism remain what most of Britain still wants: lower taxes, law and order, strong families, freedom of speech, personal responsibility, and a government that lives within its means and gets out of people’s way.

Serious question as gas prices start jumping again. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine Germany massively expanded gas storage and built LNG terminals at speed. The UK didn’t. When the Rough Gas Storage Facility closed in 2017 we lost most of our gas storage capacity and never really replaced it. For years the assumption has been that global markets will always supply what we need. And most of the time that works. But moments like this are a reminder that resilience matters just as much as efficiency. Energy security is national security.

I see Farage is off to Mar-a-Lago to talk down Britain and suck up to Trump. There's nothing patriotic about cheering on a foreign leader whose illegal war is sending British families’ energy bills through the roof.

Britain has never sought conflict, but we have always understood that our strength lies in standing with our allies. If we abandon that principle, we do not merely step back from a crisis – we step back from our place in the world

You can blame the umpire. You can blame the crowd. But when you keep hitting the ball into the net, they’re not forced but unforced errors. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is this Labour government #LabourOut

The events of the past 48 hours have laid bare Keir Starmer's utter inability to stand up to Donald Trump - and this weakness could have serious consequences for the safety of British people.

The Iranian regime has killed thousands of its own people for demanding freedom. Every life bears God’s image. Standing with the people of Iran - not their oppressors

Iran’s regime has brutalised its own people, molested its neighbours, funded international terrorism, kidnapped British nationals, and attempted to develop a nuclear weapon. We have tried diplomatic means to stop this behaviour, Iran’s leaders have rejected diplomacy. I still speak to contacts in the region whose countries are threatened daily by Iran’s brutal leaders. This is why the US and Israel have initiated military action. We must stand shoulder to shoulder with our allies.

I stand with our allies in the US and Israel as they take on the threat of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its vile regime. The same regime that carries out attacks on the UK and on our citizens, that seeks to build nuclear weapons that would threaten our country and that brutally repressed pro-democracy protests only months ago and murdered thousands of its own people. Under my leadership, the Conservative Party will always put our national security first and work with our allies to make the world a safer place.
