My daughter’s 4th grade teacher taught the class that blood is blue inside your body and only turns red when it touches oxygen. My daughter came home confidently explaining it to me while pointing at her veins. The problem? I’m an ER nurse. So I explained blood is always red because of hemoglobin. Veins just carry darker red blood. She looked confused and said: “But my teacher showed us a whole PowerPoint about it.” The next day I volunteered to do a short classroom presentation for career day. I brought sealed blood collection tubes from the hospital and explained: “These tubes contain no oxygen.” Then I showed them photos of freshly drawn blood samples. Still red. The kids were fascinated. The teacher looked increasingly irritated. One student pointed at their textbook and argued: “But our science book says blood is blue.” I checked the publication date. 1998. I explained that old textbooks sometimes contain outdated information and medicine changes quickly. That’s when the teacher pulled me into the hallway and accused me of “undermining her authority.” I told her: “Teaching kids to question things and think critically is literally the point of education.” Apparently she disagreed. The next day she gave the class a quiz asking: “What color is blood inside the body?” My daughter answered: “Red.” The teacher marked it wrong. My daughter came home crying over an F for writing the scientifically correct answer. So I scheduled a meeting with the principal and brought: medical textbooks current science standards updated biology references the quiz itself Turns out the current curriculum specifically says the “blue blood” myth should be corrected. A few weeks later the school replaced the outdated textbooks. And suddenly my daughter’s “wrong” answer became correct again.

うーん、ハンターウイルスとか、万一入ってきたら、今の医療業界の状況では全く対応できないと思いますので、治療薬、ワクチン、ウイルスの変異（弱弱になるまで）の時間稼ぎに水際作戦と徹底した検査体制の構築が必要かと思いますが、どうせ感染は認められないとか言って同じ轍を踏むのは目に見えてますので、入ってこないことを祈るしかありません。

吐き気がするほど気持ち悪い意見しか見られない記事だけど、これほど酷い案を出して国民から反対が多い事を承知の上のわざとで、結果譲歩したくらいの顔して結局秋篠宮が継ぐで話をまとめる、って腹なんじゃないかって、これまでの自民党のやり口を思うとなんとなくそんな気がしたりした。
