📸SATURDAY PHOTOGRAPHY TIMELINE CLEANSE📸 A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of visiting Claude Monet's house in Giverny, France. (Me, Mrs. Dr. Publius and several hundred Chinese tourists whose concept of personal space was... well... let's say questionable.) This is in Monet's water garden outside his house. He of course painted these lilies hundreds of times, so it was a real thrill to try my own hand at a photographic interpretation. I tried to capture them like Monet painted them, with no horizon lines, although I added the un-bokehed purple flowers as framing, which I think is kind of impressionist. Fujifilm X-H2, Fuji XF 90mm fixed lens, f/2.0, 1/1000th, ISO 400, handheld.
