Frame 1 is Kenol- Nyeri dual road Frame 2 is Nairobi- Nakuru highway Somebody somewhere is saying dualing of Frame 2 is a waste of money but it was very ok to dual frame 1. Just look at the traffic between the two.

I remember sometime in 2017 when there was an accident involving an LPG tanker. That day I was travelling to Nyeri and let me tell you maina, the traffic was crazy that evening. Kenha closed the road and all traffic from Nairobi was diverted back to use the saba saba route. We stuck in Kambiti for hours before traffic cleared a little bit to gain access to panya routes to connect to Saba Saba. Our 2nk driver gave us some offroad experience through bushes and thickets at 2am trying to find some way to civilization. A journey that started at 4pm run throughout the night and I got to Nyeri town around 8am. It's one of the craziest travels I have ever experienced. The main reason is that there were no access roads to divert traffic away incase the road got blocked. That's when calls were first made to dual the road from Kenol to Makutano.
