I represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the General Assembly of Indigenous Associations in Lagos State, hosted by the IBILE Eko Summit Foundation at MUSON Centre, Onikan.
We had a discussion on urbanisation and the challenges that come with a growing city like Lagos. It was a good opportunity to listen and share ideas on how we can build a more inclusive and sustainable Lagos together.

Today, I visited Ambassador Femi Pedro and Princess Sarah Adebisi Sosan, both of whom served as Deputy Governors of Lagos State.
I had enriching discussions with them drawing from their experience and deep understanding of the state as I continue my engagements.

Today at the Ibile Eko Summit, GAC Chairman Baba Olusi repeatedly called Dr. Obafemi Hamzat the incoming Governor of Lagos. He also re-certified his indigeneship, calling him his cousin from Egbe, a connection he says many didn’t know.

This narrative is flawed, GRV was on the ballot same way Yayi will be on the ballot. GRV wasn't voted but he got his party's ticket

To have all Govs since 1999 still alive AND to have them all backing 1 person from the State's 'political minority'—is not a story many States can boast of.
