I thought the same thing at first. of course, we won't know for sure until the episode actually drops, but maybe AVTF doesn't die instantly, he could've just been knocked down by the impact. I slowed this GIF down because I wanted a closer look at his handsome face, so the impact might look a bit less intense. It's also possible that bullseye threw the blade not just to kill, but to ricochet it so he could reuse it. I'll share an even slower version of the GIF too 🙂

@Fleur_Automne What truly hurts is how Foggy’s major contributions to the show and story arcs are just shrugged off as “oh he’s dead” like it was insignificant. Elden was one of the main reasons why DD was so good and watchable. Truly hurtful. 😢

At the end of season 1 you saw Foggy in a cage. Sadly, that was not the case, because we didn't believe that it was realistic. And the thing about our show is we try to keep it as realistic as possible."

@2nuts1harvey you're right 🙂 I'm not super familiar with the comics, but I've heard there's a storyline where matt hears foggy's heartbeat stop, and it still turns out his death was staged. I'm really hoping the show pulled from that 🥲

this might sound strange, but as someone whose favorite is dex and second favorite is foggy, I want to believe there's a reason my man, who never misses, didn't aim for foggy's head like he did with the others. not because I want to absolve dex, but because I hope that means there's still a chance foggy is alive and comes back to the show. matt already faked his death on foggy in s3. now it's foggy's turn to return the favor 🥺🙏
