😂 they will always find a problem with anything Lamar does. First, it’s problem that he wasn’t there, no it’s a problem that he is.

Coach Mangini shocks @Chris_Broussard with his reaction to Lamar Jackson attending Day 1 of offseason programming: “It’s a little problematic when you haven’t been there in the past...Now that they’ve transitioned coaching staffs, you’re suddenly all in?”

Here’s a crazy thought. Would kill the ncaa that much if the Men’s national championship game go moved to a Saturday instead of late af on a Monday night?.. Just saying…

The Lamar hate train is something to behold. ESPN starts the day criticizing Lamar Jackson for not showing up to voluntary offseason workouts in years past… then 30 minutes later, he shows up, and it’s complete silence. Then GMF starts complaining about the Ravens working too hard and lifting weights on Day 1. It’s really a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation for Lamar and Baltimore.

The celebration of Lamar Jackson showing up to VOLUNTARY workouts is lame to me. Mainly because it stems from a false belief that he isn’t serious about the team and winning. It’s a backhanded, “oh, he does care!” As if his play wasn’t enough to draw that conclusion.

No disrespect, but I don’t think more rec centers fixes this. That’s not to say DC shouldn’t have more rec centers for children and teens, but the problem here starts at home.

Lakers' Austin Reaves is expected to miss four to six weeks with the Grade 2 oblique injury, sources tell ESPN. Devastating run of injuries to L.A.'s two leading scorers. Reaves and Luka Doncic are expected to be sidelined to begin the NBA playoffs.

If Geno Auriemma doesn’t deliver a full-throated apology to Dawn Staley for his sore loser antics & a recantation of his false claim and excuse that Staley did not shake his hand pregame, some of UConn’s future recruits need to rethink joining his program & take their talents elsewhere. Auriemma’s postgame behavior from the court to the mic was that self-illuminating, but not beyond self-reflection. In the meantime, Auriemma’s antics are triggering for anyone who has experienced other individuals starting issues at work and claiming innocence in their victim facade afterwards, while getting others to focus on the reaction. That manipulation is reprehensible & deserves to be called out. Sportsmanship is about handling losing and someone else being better than you with grace, & not trying to warp and wrap a salty core with lies, projection & blame-shifting. Dawn Staley, once again, is moving on to the Championship round. Deal with it like others did when they celebrated Auriemma’s well-earned victories too.
JosinaAnderson@JosinaAnderson

Let me be Clear: Geno Auriemma OWES Dawn Staley an apology for the verbal altercation he initiated, & to regain the class he left on the court. Focusing on Dawn's reaction afterwards--who's in a calm state before* Geno spoke--ignores the sequence of events captured on video.
