I'd always have a soft spot for CR7, but he's not important to Manchester United again. We gave him everything, not the other way round.

I am a Cristiano Ronaldo fan, but before that, I am a Manchester United supporter and a football fan. Which means I will always back players who represent my club, especially someone like Bruno Fernandes, when the criticism is unfair. Being one of the greatest players of all time does not make Ronaldo immune to criticism. Likewise, supporting him should not mean shifting blame onto someone else whenever he has an off day. Did Bruno Fernandes have a great game yesterday? No. Did Ronaldo have a better game? No. You never considered that the system limited both players and the whole team? Not every disappointing performance needs a scapegoat, and certainly not Bruno Fernandes. Roberto Martinez is the real culprit.
