@TDotResident Maybe Doug Ford doesn’t want to release his cel phone records because they’ll show Runnymeade gave his unqualified daughter a Sunshine List job in exchange for $9.6 million in taxpayers money?! #FordCorruption #Onpoli

Does Canadian mainstream media have anyone reporting from Iran? If not why should I listen to their second-hand reporting? I’m asking because the level of reporting and analysis is terrible. They continue to parrot American imperialistic points that have obvious holes

Every single patient on ventilators in the entire of Cuba just died overnight because of the US blockade. The US is a terrorist regime destroying the world to rule over the ashes. It must be stopped.

TO THE MUSLIM AND PROPALESTINIAN COMMUNITY OF TORONTO A MESSAGE BASED ON PUBLIC RECORD Brad Bradford is running for Mayor of Toronto and recently spoke at a Al EID prayer in a Masjid in our community. Before you decide whether to support him, you deserve to know what he has said and done on the public record. FACTS — What Brad Bradford has publicly said and done: 🔴 He called Al Quds Day "an annual platform for antisemitic hate and extremist rhetoric" and campaigned to have it banned through a court injunction. 🔴 He joined Premier Doug Ford and Councillor James Pasternak in urging the Attorney General to shut down the Al Quds Day rally — a peaceful, Charter-protected demonstration held annually in solidarity with Palestinians. 🔴 He called pro-Palestinian rallies "unlawful pro-Hamas rallies" and demanded the mayor and police prevent them from taking place. 🔴 He participated in the UJA Federation Walk with Israel, calling it "a powerful statement of solidarity, resilience, and love." 🔴 He described the annual Al Quds march as "known for inciting violence and anti-Semitism" — characterizing our community's peaceful expression of solidarity with Palestinians as hatred. OUR QUESTION TO THE COMMUNITY: When Brad Bradford spoke inside our Masjid, did he share these positions with you? Did he tell you he has worked to silence the voices of those who stand with Palestine? Did he mention his record of calling our community's gatherings hateful and unlawful? Did he say that the calls to protect AlAqsa Mosque antisemitic? Did he share that he is a frequent voice in Bathurst and Sheppard ProIsraeli protest whos leaders are making false accusations to our brothers and sisters and making their life's turn to hell for their advocacy for Palestine? If he did not — you deserve to ask why. A politician who holds one message for one audience and another for a different audience is not being honest with any of them. This is not about hatred toward any person. This is about accountability. Every Torontonian including every Muslim has the right to know exactly where their elected officials stand before casting a vote. If his record does not reflect your values, your vote is your voice. Do not vote for Brad Bradford for Mayor of Toronto. #Onpoli #TorontoMayor #BradBradford #AlQudsDay #Palestine @ICCongress @fordnation @oliviachow @nccm @YRMuslims @toronto_muslims @TorontoComms @dimitrilascaris @TorontoCen4Pal @ISNA_Canada @TheAfghann

Eid is a time of celebration, reflection, gratitude, and community.  This morning, I joined the Muslim community in Scarborough for an Eid prayer marking the end of Ramadan. It was a meaningful opportunity to be with community members, to listen to their aspirations and concerns and to recognize the traditions and values that bring people together across our great city. Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating across Toronto! ☪️
