My children have never stepped foot in a public school. And if I couldn’t afford to send them to a small private school, I would homeschool them. I got a teacher fired at our small private school in AZ years ago because she showed my daughter’s preschool class a video about “global warming” in the arctic. The video included clips of dying polar bears and polar bear carcasses. These kids were FOUR. That experience absolutely reiterated for me how important small private schools and homeschools are. I was able to fix the problem at our school almost immediately. If that had happened at a public school I would’ve never known, or been laughed out of the principal’s office. And don’t get me started on daycare 🤬
