In the same way I love seeing Scott McTominay thrive, I'm happy for Marcus Rashford - even if admittedly it is slightly jarring to see them winning elsewhere in La Liga for Barcelona or Serie A for Napoli. I find it weird how passionate & aggressive people are to the mere mention of Rashford. It is bitter & resentful. He'd been at Manchester United since he was seven & gave 20 years of his life to them. 138 goals, 79 assists. He sacrificed his body & broke his back for the club, literally. Won trophies, created memories. I don't know how that doesn't mean more to others, who can't even seem treat him as a human being.

The issue isn't about impeding the goalie. The issue is every team in the league have had their goalies impeded by Arsenal players this season, and nothing was done about it. They allowed those grapples, pushes, shoves and thereby set a precedent on how corners and set pieces were to be officiated this season. Chalking a goal off for impeding the GK, after setting a precedent to the contrary, on the most important game of the run-in and thereby deciding the title and relegation is why people are angry.

🚨Arsenal have been crowding goalkeepers all season, we literally lost the first game of the season against them because William Saliba was allowed to touch Altay Bayındır’s hand and somehow the goal still stood. Now they’re benefiting from the exact same thing again in a title race…Either it’s a foul every time or it’s never a foul. The inconsistency is what frustrates fans the most.
