You cannot understand the heart of America without understanding the heart of those who built her. Carl Schmitt says that nation-states are doomed and the only future for America and Europe is a Großraum or "large space" This "Reich" must be an autocratic, Cameralist, Techno-Commercialist administrative bloc integrating public policy, fiscal discipline, eugenic population planning, public works, military, and economic planning into a singular sovereign decision-maker surrounded by a highly capable, cultivated self-perpetuating elite. State-directed mercantilism in a technological age guiding AI, biotech, infrastructure, and energy toward strategic rational ends. This American Reich is a Machtstaat, literally “power-state" whose telos and legitimacy is in maximizing its own strength and security perpetually. The survival and flourishing of the Reich is the only foundation for existing and not based on abstract ideals like equality, liberty, or human rights. The Whig-Puritan nomos is dead and a new nomos must be founded, in which America and Europe fuse together and become a multi-continental hegemon where no rival powers are allowed to operate within America’s Großraum and begin competing against the Chinese Han Großraum.
