On Monday, April 13, 2026, Canadians in the riding of University-Rosedale in the Toronto area will vote in a by-election. They are surely aware that their country had the highest food inflation in the G7, is the only one in the G7 with a shrinking economy, has the highest household debt in the G7, and the second-highest unemployment rate in that group. These Canadians expected tax reform but got none. They were promised removal of interprovincial trade barriers but they remained. These people will go out and still vote Liberal. Why? There is no logic or common sense anywhere! I have learned that unfortunately you cannot reason with insanity.
