Scrapping the AGI clause is a win for MSFT, which now gets to keep 20% of OpenAI rev until 2030 regardless of AGI. (MSFT gives up IP exclusivity, which was also tied to AGI.) And OpenAI will stop getting rev share from Azure, which could be a short term hit to its revenue.
