💥💥 A very interesting reply 💥💥
I had to one of my posts about the Makerfield by-election.
I'd estimated Restore Britain may get around 33% of the votes, then @PReynoAgain pointed out the canvassing for Restore was at 26-27% 3 weeks ago (when he was there). And was at 24% the week before.
So if that trend continued, Restore may breach 30% & some.
Then he mentioned that at Great Yarmouth, the actual voting far exceeded Restores highest estimates 😀😍
This sounds really good, I just hope we can replicate what happened at GY in Makerfield 🤞🏻🙏🏻👊🏻💥💣🎯🇬🇧

English

What would count as a good result for Restore? 🇬🇧
Given that Restore was only registered a few months ago:
>5% = disappointing
5–8% = respectable
8–12% = strong result
12%+ = major breakthrough
15%+ = political shockwave
If Restore were to finish ahead of the Conservatives, Greens and Lib Dems combined, and get into double figures, most political commentators would view that as a significant achievement for a brand-new party. Even if they don’t win, it would likely ensure they’re taken seriously going into future elections.

@Jenny_1884 It's about time the Yanks get involved and invite him over and slap the handcuffs on him there is more than enough evidence for the death penalty
English

@dnbinvestor @SusanHarding28 @juneslater17 @JohnCampbell98 They were also filming in the pub as the statement says which cN lead to licensing being revoked, and we know they were filming in the pub, because we have video they took in the pub! But you keep leaving that out? Are you selectively thick or just not capable of remembering it?
English

Well it did take them about 24 hours to come up with a response which protects the brand, the employee, the owner and Reform. The only party in the wrong were the unruly Reformers who refused to move their bus from the loading bay.
I have never come across anyone in my life who has been asked to move their car or van then whips out their phone to throw a hissy fit. But I suppose anything is possible.
English

@dnbinvestor @SusanHarding28 @juneslater17 @JohnCampbell98 Or is that a logical step too far for someone who has only just discovered the concept of selective editing?
English

@dnbinvestor @SusanHarding28 @juneslater17 @JohnCampbell98 You have only just accepted this, apparently however. Could you also possibly accept that the company of right-wing brexiteer and known Reform fan, Tim Martin, would likely only back a teenager against the horde of crybaby online Reformers if said teenager was in the right?

@alison_merry1 @patriots777888 @JMcMurdockMP You must hate women then if you're such a fan of an abusive misogynistic thug
English

@patriots777888 Is this true??? 🙏 .... he should never have lost the whip in the first place. But this would be fantastic news @JMcMurdockMP if it is really happening 🤞🤞🤞
English

@dnbinvestor @SusanHarding28 @juneslater17 @JohnCampbell98 Is it beyond you to consider that he almost certainly explained the reasoning to them and they simply cut that out of the clip??? You weren't defending him, you said you thought it was a cover up when his company backed him, twat.
English

@ac69807 @SusanHarding28 @juneslater17 @JohnCampbell98 That’s bollocks mate and I was defending the bloke anyway.
“Are you refusing to serve Reform voters?”
“No you need to move your bus from our loading bay”
It’s very simple.
English

@juneslater17 I’d have thought that was gross misconduct and he would have been sacked.
English

@juneslater17 @JohnCampbell98 June, I think you might want to withdraw this post. Wetherspoons have issued a statement and all is not as it seemed. I saw the original post to and did some more research, their bus was parked in the pubs loading bay. I know you don’t like to mislead people x
English

I personally don’t believe Spoons on this. The manager never said anything about a bus or loading bay in the video. I think it’s just damage limitation by a huge corporation. But at the same time I wouldn’t want to be a pub manager so I don’t blame the guy for a second and maybe the original poster just edited that bit out.

@baggiebod @monicabeharding Do any of those have an arrow for a logo you muppet?
English

@monicabeharding That's a pretty large leap.
There is more than one party in the UK who's name begins with 'R.'
There may also be a bloke call Ray, or Rich, or Roy, or Ryan, or a female called Rachael, or Rochelle, or Rosie who doesn't like the Lib Dems.
Still, I know Reform lives in your heads!
English

I have reported to the police a series of incidents over the last week in Long Ditton and Thames Ditton, where Liberal Democrat campaign boards, and in some cases, nearby private property, have been deliberately vandalised. The graffiti includes a St George's cross and an 'R' and arrow, which suggests those responsible associate themselves with Reform UK.
I am disappointed to report that this behaviour goes beyond simple mischief.
It is criminal damage and appears designed to intimidate those taking part in our democratic process.
This is not how we do politics in this country. There is no place for this in our community. Displaying a board of whatever political colour is part of our peaceful political process. People who decide to do this should not be intimidated into not doing so. Politics must be conducted through argument and persuasion, not vandalism or intimidation.
I would ask any residents in the affected areas to check their CCTV, doorbell cameras, or dashcams for any footage that may help identify those responsible. Even small details could be important, and I urge anyone with information to come forward and assist the police.
Despite these incidents, our candidates are out campaigning on the doorstep and those whose boards have been attacked have asked that they be kept up.

@WelshCelt @AlSandiford87 @Steven_Swinford @MaxKendix They are talking about another rise when Reform set the new budgets in February for 2026-2027... are you dense???
English

Exclusive from @MaxKendix
Eight Reform UK councils have indicated that they will raise council tax next year after struggling to find huge cuts in public spending
Durham, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire and Kent are all looking at council tax rises
Reform leaders have faced similar problems to other councils in providing for the spiralling cost of children’s and adult social care, which accounts for about two-thirds of budgets

@GrimmDark1 @NotFarLeftAtAll No ones fucking marrying you bro and you know it, shut up
English

@NotFarLeftAtAll I'd have never married her in the first place. But if I were him I'd have stood up, grabbed the mic and said we're getting a divorce and then gone home without her.
English

@NotFarLeftAtAll Why are they marrying? they’re obviously not religious. So why take part in a ceremony to make promises and bind them to a faith they don’t believe in.
