I’ve not actually used them yet but it does seem to indicate a new way of thinking about libraries and if the demo is anything to go by then they may be the future. I’m waiting until @acousticsamples have whole sections available before I purchase. I don’t think it will be long though. Also, given what they’ve done with woodwinds (nearly a complete section!) I can’t wait to hear what they do with strings which must surely be on their to-do list.

Has there been any noteworthy plugin or library release this year aside from Pacific Strings? I feel like there wasn't anything groundbreaking really?

@Kojin_Strike Sounds fantastic! B-flat 2 is definitely the best for the ‘whispery’ sound, but we’re looking at adding some sort of breath feature (among other things) for v2 🙂 Great work mixing this sound by the way! Whatever you did really makes it sing!

I have *never* heard virtual clarinets this realistic. Seriously. They are so smooth and warm, while being accurate to the dynamics and registers of the real thing. Also the "virtual space" feature (similar to VSL's MIR reverb) blows my mind with how good it sounds
