Thinking back to 2019 and consulting on the @kickstarter campaign to Restore Mission Control where my dad worked so many years. What a privilege to help out with this effort. And to 1969, when my dad wasn’t on console but back home w my mom, watching the first steps.

On July 20, 2019, the surviving members of Gene Kranz's flight control team, who were on duty during the Apollo 11 landing, stood at their consoles in the restored mission control room exactly 50 years later and listened to their historic acheivement via apolloinrealtime.org/11
