@O_belau @FakayodeGloria I remember it used to be called “Anko” coined from the English phrase “and co” for àléjò (guests), while if you belong to a group (ẹgbẹ́) it was Aṣọ Ẹgbẹ́.

@FakayodeGloria Overtime, aso-ebi has lost it’s contextual meaning. That they picked cloth for an event doesn’t mean it is aso-ebi(cloth/fabric for the family) of course for an event. But it can be used in today’s term as fabric for uniformity.

I tried to buy Yorùbá Òrìṣà domain names, Ọ̀rúnmìlà, Ògún, Ọbàtálá, etc. but I found out they have all been bought. Some are active websites with content, while others were bought just to be resold. Again, all the buyers are located in the USA. I don’t know when they were bought, but I think the Ìṣẹ̀ṣe/Òrìṣà community should have bought these names instead @ILE_AJISEFA
