@RiverHawkRack @RiverHawker I was actually thinking the same - that they paid people to show up. They can’t even fill their tiny arena with their own fans. They had to give out gear to wear so they had enough yellow t-shirts. There were more yellow shirts there than a Big Bird convention.

@RiverHawker I developed a theory during the game that none of those people actually go/went to Merrimack. They shipped fans in like Qatar did for the World Cup

Before tonight I couldn't tell you the last time somebody told me to "suck a dick". I think I heard it from at least 7 Merrimack fans on the way out of the Garden? Easily the most unlikable "fan" base I've encountered in sports recently.
