March Madness 🤝AfroBallers We hosted a bracket building party in Los Angeles where we broke down how to select teams and build a bracket by meeting people where they are at with their basketball knowledge. The WNBA has reached a new collective bargaining agreement with the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA), marking a major financial shift for the league. Under the new deal: — Average player salaries are projected to increase from ~$120,000 to ~$600,000 — Top players can earn up to ~$1.4 million — The salary cap is expected to rise from $1.5 million to $7 million Nneka Ogwumike, President of the WNBPA, played a key leadership role in negotiations.
