this is why if you're interested in donating, I'd recommend direct donation drives like university fund raising or ngo(s), for they make sure the help actually reaches the people who need it as soon as possible.

clean water is one of the biggest needs, hence my colleagues will be driving up north to personally deliver help and reach those who need it most. apparently, we are in need of more financial donations so we can buy more goods to send across different northern cebu areas.

some victims were denied relief because they couldn't show proof their homes were actually ruined, others were told “no coupon, no goods” which is just straight up inhumane.

hello, friends! they're still accepting donations. most relief goods so far were focused on just one city, when in reality many other areas were also badly hit. what makes it even harder is how messy the distribution has been up there.

good day, everyone! my colleagues from uc main - ab psychology dept are raising funds for the quake victims in northern cebu. tho a lot of donations have been sent, many remote areas, such as places before and after bogo city, remain unreached.
