@taepov Love the detailed insights into all the Monetization payout breakouts. Personally makes sense that the playtime shifts, it's a great metric but i've also seen players just sitting in a the game straight chillin giving off bot vibes or kid vibes maybe same same

$1950 – May Results on HypeHype The platform continues to reduce playtime payouts and is gradually cutting back its in-app purchase subsidy program. As a result, creators across the platform are seeing a significant drop in income – myself included. Last month, I was boosted by a prize for winning a category. This time, there were no such bonuses. The income ratio between playtime and in-app purchases has shifted to 25% playtime and 75% in-apps for the month. In the last ten days of May, the ratio was already 15% to 85%, due to another round of playtime payout reductions. I had planned to dedicate all of May to working on Hypolis, but I realized I’d hit a bit of a ceiling with that game. It seemed more effective to slightly broaden my efforts to other games. I took advice from fellow creator GodOfHype, whose strategy is to build several good games across different genres. That approach made sense to me, so I adopted it. As part of this new strategy, I created Tower Kings. In 2.5 weeks and over 20 product iterations, I managed to turn a weak-metric prototype into a fairly successful game. Today, it’s ranked #5 on the platform’s top chart. This new strategy helped me avoid an even bigger drop. I’ll continue growing my game portfolio rather than focusing on a single title. I’ve heard that some creators have left or are planning to leave the platform due to worsening monetization. As for me, I’ve decided to stay and keep developing because: ▫️ I enjoy the platform, its tools, and the games on it ▫️ It’s still in early access and already generating a reasonably decent income ▫️ I believe in the platform’s potential and am willing to invest my time and effort into it ▫️ It’s an excellent environment to rapidly build product expertise – one of the most powerful levers for growth

Cooking is a gateway drug into a culture unknown – a shot of something real, raw, and unforgiving. You don’t learn to mix apple into your kimchi from some glossy cookbook. These lessons are whispered, passed down. You gotta know someone who knows. And if you know me, then you ask

Fifteen years. That’s how long it takes to go from holy shit to home on a couch. One day you’re watching bands live tear it open in theater legends once stood — the next, their songs are selling Coca-Cola. That’s the deal. Art gets old. Or maybe we do. And the songs still 🔥

Spent the last week working on a little space trading MMO @HypeHypeGameApp. I don’t know what my fascination with minimalistic space games is, maybe it’s just the fact that something so huge can almost always fit onto whatever system I’m using. I’m finishing up this game for an alpha test soon. I have no idea exactly how HypeHype’s multiplayer works, so I am looking for people to test the online features. If you’re on HH and would be willing to test this in a few days, then let me know! #gameDev
