Berbicara setelah hasil imbang 2-2 melawan Selandia Baru 🇳🇿, Ghalenoei, striker Mehdi Taremi, dan pencetak gol Mohammad Mohebbi mengatakan bahwa mereka dipaksa terbang kembali ke kamp latihan di Meksiko hanya beberapa jam setelah pertandingan di SoFi Stadium, dekat Los Angeles.
Taremi dan Ghalenoei menjelaskan bahwa tim sebenarnya berharap dapat menjalani sesi pemulihan pada hari Selasa di Los Angeles, sehari setelah pertandingan, namun mereka diberitahu bahwa hal tersebut tidak diizinkan.

Well Taylor has entered the chat. Pleasure to hear from you sir. China just doesn’t have a soccer culture. Neither does India. When a small percentage of people have a legitimate chance to first play and then be developed it makes it hard. But my thought is a bit of the alternate viewpoint, if Christian Ronald grows up in Dallas does he play soccer seriously? Or is he drawn to basketball or football. He would have been very good at both. We know we have hidden gems that just never end up playing serious soccer.

Totally disagree with this. The quality of a national team is simply a function of the number of people who seriously try to play the sport. So the population x the percentage of people who get a legit shot to make it. That percentage is just way lower in the US than in most countries around the world. Our top athletes are playing football cornerback and slot receivers, basketball point guards and baseball. Nothing wrong with it but don’t act like our soccer deficiencies aren’t a direct result of top athletes playing other sports. It is.

1) I am so happy Iran 🇮🇷 is at World Cup.
2) I hate that they have rules that do not apply to other WC teams.
3) They have had to overcome so much to get here.
4) I can assure a 15 min 🚌 ride from SoFi to LAX and a 30 min ✈️flight to Tijuana pales in comparison.

It took FIVE HOURS (5!!) for them to leave the tarmac due to strict U.S. security protocols that their opponents aren’t subjected to. So like I said, it’s an unfair competitive advantage

Sesudah laga Piala Dunia melawan Selandia Baru yang berakhir imbang dengan skor 2-2, timnas Iran harus terbang kembali ke Meksiko, karena pemerintah AS gak mengizinkan pemain maupun ofisial timnas Iran untuk tinggal di AS selama Piala Dunia berlangsung, meskipun seluruh laga Iran akan dimainkan di AS... I can’t even imagine flying into a city and playing a World Cup match on the exact same day. The U.S. government forcing this travel schedule on the Iranian team is a massive, unfair disadvantage. It’s straight-up sabotage that completely tilts the scales for their opponents!

Iran v. New Zealand ended around 8pm here in Los Angeles. At 10:07pm, Iran players were on a bus bound for the airport, where they'd fly back to Tijuana. World Cup organizers wouldn't let them stay and recover. “Everything is like a disaster for us," Mehdi Taremi said.

FIFA rencana langsung pulangkan mereka abis lawan New Zealand, padahal butuh recovery. 11 staf tim ditolak masuk AS. Latihan pun di Tijuana, Meksiko, bukan di Amerika.
