@azmina_rose 💯 The lack of detail about workforce is concerning. CNS teams are already stretched and with more patients diagnosed it’s difficult to see how need will be met. Also, Who will staff the CDC’s? And, they talk about personalised care like it’s a new concept… 💙

What’s heartening about this latest cancer plan is that it’s clearly been written by ‘insiders’ who truly understand #NHS cancer care. Workforce to deliver will be the biggest challenge, due to current shortages and upcoming retirement peaks. Ambition and realism must coexist. 💙
