Every day since the start of the latest war, Hezbollah has taken roughly 13 Israeli officers and soldiers out of the fight. For a resistance movement with no air force, no tanks, no warships, and none of the resources of a state army, that is an extraordinary achievement against the most heavily armed and technologically advanced military in the Middle East. Israel entered the war expecting overwhelming superiority to dictate the outcome. Instead, it has been paying a daily price in blood and manpower to confront a force that fights without fighter jets, without armoured divisions, and without the vast military infrastructure enjoyed by a state. The numbers alone challenge the narrative of an easy or decisive victory.

Reuters says Hezbollah “describes” it as occupied Lebanese territory. Israeli troops are literally occupying Lebanese territory. Why is occupation treated as a matter of opinion? If this isn’t occupation, what would Reuters call it?

The Islamic Resistance confirms that it has committed to a ceasefire since Friday evening, 19-06-2026, until after the enemy's violation from the first moments, but it kept its hand on the trigger due to the enemy's repeated breaches and constant betrayal.
