Her struggle was for her existence and behaviours to be understood, yet only a few ended up truly understanding her. Like omg she makes me so emotional. And yeah I’m kind of sympathising with her a lot because it really sucks to not be understood by people outside of your family

Alia recounting coming into existence is so terrifying. It’s always hard for me to wrap my head around it, I reread it often. It’s kind of how people talk about their first memories, just remembering being alive one day. Except for she woke up before she was even born

(which is where I got the quote for this edit) so thankfully I have enough material for my edits of her as a child.

I loveeee Alia when she’s older but a part of me relates to child Alia a lot too, which we unfortunately didn’t get in the films. I actually think we might be lucky enough to get a few clips of her in the beginning of the new film. However, there’s a lot of Alia in the miniseries
