[OFFICIAL STATEMENT] 260408 | DEMAND FOR WAKEONE TO PROPERLY SPEAK UP FOR GEONWOO AND ALL MEMBERS OF ALD1 As a global fanbase for ALPHA DRIVE ONE, we are committed to supporting all members of the group to the best of our extent. Despite sustained efforts from fans calling for a clear and appropriate statement for clarification of allegations concerning ALPHA DRIVE ONE member Kim Geonwoo, the long-awaited statement fails to address the full range of accusations that have circulated online as well as concrete legal/protective measures taken by WAKEONE. Notably absent is any acknowledgement or clarification regarding the spread of fabricated claims including those that were AI-generated or amplified by individuals falsely representing staff from broadcasting organisations. The lack of response to these specific allegations deeply reflects WAKEONE’s failure to adequately protect the artist from demonstrably harmful misinformation, and gives the impression of inconsistent and reactive management.
