I always get a bit dreamy passing derelict farmhouses in remote locations. My route on Friday took me past this substantial building, roof still intact. I wonder what led to it being abandoned. I reckon it was the lack of a 4G signal 😉

Hi @UKRunChat & @UKCycleChat I’ve picked up a knee injury during marathon training 😭 Walking alone is now a risky business and cycling on the turbo isn’t as pain-free as anticipated. Any tips for keeping cardio up while I await scan results to find out what’s going on?

So that’s how I’m feeling this evening. 🤣

Also it’s nice to have a bimble somewhere pretty and then hit the pub for a pie and a pint afterwards. I swear, nothing in the world tastes as good as a pub meal after a day being blown about by the wind and hauling yourself up steep inclines in the hills. Any hills.

These sunny days have got me thinking of all the lovely places I am going to go and pitch my tent and to say I’m looking forward to it would be an understatement ⛺️
