I am a nurse in Manchester earning about £4,200 monthly before taxes. People think I am wealthy because I live in UK🇬🇧, but after deductions, I take home around £2,900. Expenses include rent (£1,200), council tax (£180), car finance (£340), insurance (£160), utilities (£300), food (£600+), and supporting family in Africa. I send nearly £800 monthly, but no one asks if I can afford it. Last month, I had only £32 left and borrowed money. I feel ashamed because I appear successful but feel overwhelmed.
