The tournament is 4 months away and many tickets are still unsold, tickets for most games would normally sell out by now. It will be the first ever tournament with 48 countries participating which expands the scope of customer bases the tickets that can be sold to. Still, the Trump administration have managed to ruin something sacred to people around the world. Many fans not willing to travel for fear of not being allowed in the country upon arrival and losing thousands in ticket fees, Hotel and air travel. The US government still adamant that anyone coming to the games must provide all Social media and Email account information for the last 5 year of their lives. This only adds to concerns about ICE and possible detentions. Trump has killed the FIFA World Cup.
