The fact that South Africans are even debating dollars hidden at a president’s private farm tells you how far standards have collapsed under the ANC.
"He didn’t steal, they stole from him" completely misses the point. The real questions are why so much foreign currency was there, whether it was properly declared, why the matter was allegedly concealed, and why ordinary citizens would never receive this level of political protection.
Under Ramaphosa and the ANC, accountability always seems to depend on who is involved.
“These dollars you are talking about were found in the farm of the president, whether they were in couches or wherever they were found any where, there was a break in at the farm of the president and to that extent there is a case in court in terms of the break in. so the onus is on the owner of the dollars to explain ” ANC SG Fikile Mbalula
“Has the President stolen? He didn’t steal; they stole from him.” @MbalulaFikile
The whole Phala Phala saga is problematic. Just thinking about the volume of $580,000 is mind-boggling. The second question is: how did that amount of cash end up in South Africa? SARS requires that any amount equivalent to $10,000 be declared. Thirdly, conducting a transaction in cash — and for that amount in dollars — does not sound legitimate. The question should be: where did the money come from, and why was it hidden in furniture instead of being kept in a safe?
@newslivesa Some people don't understand that this particular farm is not a place of residence for the President but a place of business. Which business is not allowed to have money in it? Because you go to Makro, you will find money, you go to Shoprite, you will find the same thing. But keh

When will the Hawks start arresting corrupt white tenderpreneurs?
The bulk of the state procurement is dominated by them.
They seem exempted from prosecution for some reason. When caught, they are asked to repay their loot and no one goes to prison.
However, corrupt black tenderpreneurs get paraded as the face of corruption and face prosecution.
They must all be arrested.
@ZounaidOsman@AfricaisBlack Are you high, or completely out of line? Dragging the apartheid sports boycott into a discussion about a flag at Houghton is absurd. You’re entitled to your opinion—just don’t politicise golf
Houghton Golf Club must choose. Are they a part of the new, democratic South Africa that stands for justice, or are they a sanctuary for those who wish to ignore the global struggle for human rights?
We stand firm. We stand with Louis Seeco. We stand with Palestine. 🇿🇦🇵🇸
You have a clear choice: continue living in a city that is falling apart under the ANC and give them another four years—hoping things will improve after 30 years of disappointment—or choose a different path by voting for the DA. If change is what you want, can they really do any worse?
Houghton was absolutely right. Imagine the chaos if every member started arriving with flags on their cars—it would quickly turn into a political display rather than a sporting environment. Their commitment to neutrality is essential. Sport should bring people together, not divide them, and allowing politics into that space risks undermining its very purpose.
Someone is out here taking delivery of a Lamborghini Revuelto worth about R12.8 million 😩at this point, where are people getting this kind of money? The level of wealth in this country is something else.

🚨Happening Now
Fighters are gathered at Houghton Golf Club. We just want to play golf and we support the struggle of the people of Palestine, just like @LouisSeeco . We want to know, what is criminal about that.
Limpopo man returned 2 million he found in a waste bin, at Louis Trachadt and he was given a Shoprite voucher of R500 as loyalty token.
One word for the Man?🙏🙏
France is in talks to lend South Africa €100 million (R1.9 billion) to support a programme to regenerate its rundown cities.
