BREAKING: HELL YES! Delta Air Lines announces an immediate end to its special privileges for members of Congress until the MAGA government shutdown ends. Now they'll have to suffer with the rest of us peasants... “Due to the impact on resources from the longstanding government shutdown, Delta will temporarily suspend specialty services to members of Congress flying Delta,” Delta stated. “Next to safety, Delta’s No. 1 priority is taking care of our people and customers, which has become increasingly difficult in the current environment.” The dedicated service desk in question allows lawmakers to obtain government rates for trips, make ticketing changes at the last minute, and book multiple seats on multiple flights on the same day to make it easier for them to come and go for votes. The decision to end the special treatment for members of Congress comes as airport lines have grown ludicrously long in recent days due to a failure by the Trump administration to reach a deal on DHS funding. The TSA falls under DHS so the partial shutdown has them understaffed and stretched thin. Many employees are going without pay and over 400 have quit. “TSA officers just received $0 paychecks. That is simply unacceptable. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to put food on the table, put gas in the car and pay rent when you are not getting paid,” several airline executives wrote to Congress earlier this month. At the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta alone, travelers were urged to a lot at least four hours to pass through TSA. Under total Republican control of our government, everything is falling apart. Illegal wars are being waged overseas as our domestic situation spirals into chaos. Trump can't even keep our airports orderly. Rather than strike a deal with Democrats to end this burden on the American people, Trump has flooded his undertrained, violence-prone ICE agents into airports around the country. They're predictably terrorizing and detaining innocent people already. On top of that, he's now calling for the DHS funding to be tied to his voter suppression bill, increasing the likelihood that this shutdown stretches on. If the rest of us have to deal with the negative consequences of Republican leadership, the least that the airlines can do is make them feel our pain! Please ❤️ and share to thank Delta!

My 15-year-old son hasn't left his room in three months. Not since the boys at school shoved his crochet project into a trash can and filmed it, posted it with "What kind of guy does this?" while everyone laughed. I'd find him at 2 AM, surrounded by patterns he'd saved from online, yarn everywhere, eyes red from crying. "This is all I'm good at," he'd whisper. His little shop online became his only safe place while kids his age destroyed him daily for doing something they called "girly." Then last week, he emerged from his room holding this gnome outfit. "For the baby," he said, voice barely audible. His first complete costume for his 10-month-old sister. Every single stitch perfect. The pointed red hat, that fluffy white beard, those striped legs with tiny boots. When the baby giggled and reached for his face, my son smiled. First real smile in months. "Do you think it's... stupid?" he asked, waiting for me to confirm what those boys said. Stupid? My broken boy had turned months of torture into something magical. I posted these photos in his online shop while he wasn't looking. Orders came flooding in within hours. "This is professional work!" "Does he do custom orders?" "Tell your son he's incredibly talented!" He's reading every comment now, crying. Happy tears this time. Talking about maybe going back to school. Maybe finding other kids who create things. Maybe those boys were just scared of someone different. To anyone who thinks a teenage boy hiding with yarn is wasting his life, sometimes he's saving it. One stitch at a time. Please tell him what you think. He needs to hear it from more than just his mom.

I think I’m kind of a unicorn in the PE world because I agree that maximum engagement and participation will get kids moving and learning. We throw in points for fun but I never keep track since that’s not the point.

@KevWeir1 rolling down their cheeks? "Well it got you out of school" This was not the first time the teacher in question brought kids to football and didn't give them a minute.

It’s a shame that even in school sport events, some kids spend more time on the sidelines than actually playing. The aim of PE and school sport should always be maximum participation, every child active, included and learning through play.

When I first saw equipment room we were getting I instantly thought: How will this be organized? What’s best use of this space? Can confidently say it’s turned out almost exactly as I designed it. Everything on shelves. If not, it’s on wheels so it’s easy to move around. #physed
