Cops regularly ‘canvass’ on the job, and it’s probably extremely effective. Friend in SF had a homeless guy break into his building’s lobby and piss everywhere, the cops came in time to arrest him, but then told them “because of the DA” there was no point in holding him.

The entitlement that NJ people have over NYC doing congestion pricing is nuts. Very clear illustration of how people in suburbs believe the city exists to serve them, as some kind of drive through service.

I will never, ever in this lifetime get over the DOE releasing a graphic urging student debtors not to commit suicide 3 days before SCOTUS ruled against them. Truly the darkest time for humanity.
