I guess some writers do use AI to “streamline” their research and writing process… well, I prefer to get lost in 150+ open tabs and have those ideas occupy and torment my headspace until I unexpectedly reach a breakthrough in a shower or on a walk.

at my first real journalism job i regularly produced 6+ aggregated stories a day. it was exhausting, but ultimately phenomenally instructive . i still think there are few better ways for a first time writer to quickly get up to speed on a new beat it’s so sad we’re losing this
