How do you support someone mentally and emotionally when you're struggling yourself?

How do you comfort someone who broke up with his gf of 10.5 years last year but he still hasn't moved on. Worse, he hears his ex gf now has a new bf. And his new job is not working out as he planned. He's now very down and sad. What words do you say? I'm at a loss.

I have a lot of things I want to say, but as I became an old man, my talk becomes long, so I thought I'd end it here. But it was fun. There's still tomorrow, & the day after it, but today has really been fun. We will continue to run until the end. Please continue to support us.

Also, for things like creaking stairs, only 嵐 would say something. We'd say, "Why are these stairs creaking so much?" It's very 嵐-like. Well, those things only嵐 would know, or things such as seating arrangement, made me think, "Nothing has changed in the past 26.5 years."
