Hmm... does he actually realize the Soviet Union isn't a thing anymore since 1991? I've seen "Made in USSR" things here in Brazil, and for a short time before the fall of the Soviet Union we even had Lada dealerships here. Being the Soviet system so closed, it is possible the Ladas had parts made in Belarus. But, I never saw anything, technological or otherwise, "made in Belarus". Not even thermo-ionic vacuum tubes, which is electronics technology that was on the wane in the mid-to-late 1970s already, and is about the only thing "made in Russia" I see, made by companies like "SovTek" (where the "Sov" comes from "Soviet", like in "Sovtransavto").

@FeeHeath1975 I thought it was hilarious when he said that if Belarus improves the quality of its goods and ‘technologies’ just a bit it’ll leave all its competitors in the dust.

Lukashenko’s latest comedy routine🔽 “We come in peace but we are preparing for war so that it never happens. We only have Russian nukes because Lithuanians got mad at us for no reason. In conclusion: We are not going to attack anyone. We’ve had enough of war.” 🤪🤪🤪

You don't even have to go too far from Belgorod to understand. Just open your favorite text editor, paste this text, and use the "Find/Replace" functionality to replace 'Belgorod' with 'Vovchansk', 'hohol' with 'moskal' and 'Russian' with 'Ukrainian'. (P.S. I know Russia did that to many other places in Ukraine, even bigger cities. I used Vovchansk as an example because, if my geography isn't failing me, is the closest to the Belgorod region in the Ukraine/Russia border area.)

It's strange how after 4 years of this bloody war people STILL keep parroting this (or getting bots to do so). Russia has "elections" that anyone with more than one and a half brain cell alive knows who will win long before they actually happen, and opposition candidates drop out because of the danger of opposing the one "who will win", almost North Korea style. Ukraine has no elections because Russia started the war and the Ukrainian law does not allow elections during wartime. Also, even during wartime, with martial law in effect, the Ukrainian people can, and do, protest against their government when they feel they have to. The Russians don't even dare do anything that may be construed as criticism of Dear Leader Vladimir Vladimirovich, like standing in a public place holding a blank piece of paper, because there is always police and FSB around to arrest them. So, at least to me, Ukraine is more of a democracy than Russia, even with the problems, past and present, with its neighbor, like the current war and the Soviet legacy of corruption.

@Microinteracti1 LOL Russia has elections == democracy. Ukraine NO elections == dictatorship. Why defend Ukraine from anything. Allow eastern area to gain independence and leave it alone. So easy. Ukraine and Russia both have claim to the "land" independence is the compromise.

@FreudGreyskull @Basebollligan Also, it’s amazing that, since an average Russian town has about 30,000 people, Russians aren’t particularly bothered by the number of their fellow citizens being killed each month.

@rima_medUA Well, I have no military experience to speak of, but I'm told that in a war, basic hygiene can, at times, be the difference between life and death. Even in movies you see stories of people who die of preventable diseases in war.

Agreed 1000%. This is very common in Brazil, and to be honest, you can't really expect basic education in a place like here. The average Brazilian simply doesn't know what that is. I thought that was something pertaining to third-world countries, but no, it seems like you can find that anywhere. (P.S. Ms. Trinzu, I am sure the Brazilians you've met are well above average, for the simple fact they're there.)

I genuinely think people blasting stuff from their phones on a bus without headphones are testing everyone’s last nerve… this should be considered a violation of basic human rights at this point. 😵‍💫

Well, he's right about everything except that "this is not innovation". Much on the contrary, this IS innovation, and quite a big one at that. Gaining scale through a decentralized production mode. You don't need a factory with specialized equipment producing parts for 1,000 drones a day if you get every housewife in a high-rise apartment building to produce parts for 5 drones a day with 3D printers.

I’m having a moment, so I’ll log off until tomorrow. Taking time to reflect. I’ve been thinking about stepping back from volunteer work. Not out of anger, but from a sense of heaviness. It’s hard to feel effective when the field isn’t level…when some voices are amplified and others go unheard, even when the need is real. I’m helping Anastasia raise funds for her father’s unit, and it’s been difficult watching those calls for support be overlooked. It’s more sadness than anything. It’s affecting my mental health and spirit. My heart is already heavy, and seeing this is truly heart-shattering. Inclusivity and fairness matter. I just need a little time to sit with that. See you tomorrow. I won’t give up on this collection. Be good. Do good. Thanks for helping our military!! I love you.

@NatalkaKyiv @UkieWalt @HSchoberova It's that "rashan air defense so strong" that the "debris" from the downed Ukrainian drones pretty much always hit their designated targets, such is the force with which they're hit. 🤷‍♂️
