My heart is constantly on display, I let my insecurities dull the creativity I have, & the bravery I need to push myself to do things that scare me. This is something that scared me. It’s been a long walk, the waters are treacherous & I wanted to run so much it hurt but I didn’t

@etherealmiwi again I get her, they’ve been together for 10 years so it must be really confusing, but I’m uncomfortable with how she’s acting toward her very depressed, anxious husband when he doesn’t want sex. It sometimes feels a bit like emotional blackmail when she cries in those moments.

@anni3hall that’s exactly how I feel too, like I care that she’s gonna make mike upset. plus when she made mike reconfirm he was straight multiple times in therapy it grossed me out, like he was clearly uncomfortable and she just kept pushing his boundaries (PHYSICALLY TOO)

@anni3hall I weep at your comments. It’s the confirmation that what I wrote/ the author of the story your reading (I read your comments in others works too) is understood. That the subtle implication or emotion I put in is known, is felt

@etherealmiwi Yeah, totally! I mean, she’s obviously only human and I wouldn’t want to be in her shoes, and we’re probably biased since we only see her through Mike’s perspective BUT STILL! I only care about her in the sense that hurting her is gonna destroy Mike (initially at least)

@anni3hall I was trying so hard to be neutral and see things from her perspective but then she made mike feel like shit over talking to Will and then made that godawful “joke” abt Will having a thing for him like let’s back it up here

@biggestsquid Yes! I was really glad when the therapist at marriage counseling addressed consent in the last chapter, it was starting to feel uncomfortable tbh

@anni3hall Well and to be honest…she’s not THAT nice: 1)”is he still gay?” Uh who the heck asks that? 2)constantly trying to get Mike to have sex when he has stated he DOESN’T want to. Not the be THAT guy, but if it were a guy pressuring a girl like that constantly, we’d hate his guts.
