During qualifying, he achieved a lap time of 2 minutes and 3 seconds, a further improvement over his performance on the same track last season, with his lap time continuing to approach the mainstream range for professional drivers. From 2019 to 2026, Wang Yibo’s racing career has progressed from motorcycles to GT3, and from sprint racing to the 8-hour endurance race. In the 2025 season, he achieved a record of six podium finishes in six races, becoming the first Chinese star driver to achieve this feat in the GT3 series. This also allowed the number 85 driver to gradually establish solid competitive edge and brand recognition in the racing arena.”
