New record Thar Farraige coming soon - August 15th. New York based filmmaker Derrick Belcham has made films for some tracks, including Samhain for pipes & electronics written for Brìghde Chaimbeul. Filmed at my homeplace of the Old Head with dancer/choreographer Emily Terndrup.

Can anyone tell me if the Scottish 1993/1994 short film "Up the Garden Path" by Mick McCluskey was completed/released? Found this November 1993 reference to a rough cut, but drawn a blank after.

Cracking latest album from Sister John and debuts from Pippa Blundell and Jacob Alon, all released within the space of a week. Heck of a week for fans of top quality Scottish music like.

Spent the last couple of nights at the Tron for the RCS Off Kilter event. Was impressed by all the works, but I do love a bit of solo theatre and I have to single out the works by Rosie Mackay, Jude Bain, Eve Priestley and Sebastien Wong in particular. Very much my thing.

Found in a 70s newspaper. I wonder if anyone sat through this entire day. Heck of an experience.

Totally worth it. Absolutely loved Water Colour by Milly Sweeney at the Byre in St Andrews this evening. Molly Geddes and Ryan Mackay are both exceptional in it. You still have one more chance to catch it tomorrow!

No idea what's going on here but screw you guys, I'm going to book a front row seat.

Directed by Jess Franco, who has made countless terrible movies, and even he considered this one of his worst. So hopes are not high. But, I am on a quest to watch every single video nasty, so here we go...

Back on my Wiseman thing tonight. A mere four hours, this one.

Just discovered this film festival at Eden Court, Inverness, which looks absolutely tailor-made specially for me. Shame it was 35 years ago.
