+ save system on web, people don't want to lose their data the next day they play your game, you don't want to make the experience frustrating for players unity easily allow storing data in local browser storage with PlayerPrefs, i dont know about other engines

I have a discord invite link button inside the game to potentially convert players and gets to connect with them! this is the most important part, building a community is extremely powerful, and you can get quick feedback that way

+10k views on reddit accross multiple subreddits only 1 reddit post went viral and audience was mostly game devs web playable build on itch is the best conversion method, much much less friction than asking player to download game #indiedev #indiegame #devlog

@apepatrickdev yes, i can take a look! but let me preface by saying itch sales are way more "direct" than steam, they heavily depend on social proof, and most of the people i see making money from itch are asset creators and people getting donations for a big ongoing project (nsfw/sfw, both)

got +4k views and growing, on my reddit post. which led to 8 plays and got valuable feedback! very great platform to post on to get early users people seemed very invested in it and its usually good signals if your players are asking for more content! (demo lasts around 20mn)
