Yesterday, the #UNC community gathered to remember the life and legacy of Zijie Yan at a memorial site dedication outside Caudill Labs. The memorial includes a bench built by Yan’s colleagues and the Carolina Tree Heritage Program from a 250-year-old reclaimed campus oak tree.
