hey @arqbackup @reitshamer is your mail server up an running? I sent a bunch of e-mails, radio silence since a whole week. that doesn't bode well for me...

old keychains on old hard drives of earlier computers. I know the passwords of those other computers. Who knows if it's recoverable by any means at all. But do you have any ideas/tips where I might look to find old keychain files? Thanks :)


@arqbackup There should be an easier way to update your backup endpoint without having to edit the ArqAgent sqlite database. Still... it works. knezevic.ch/posts/updating…

@arqbackup if you choose to materialise cloud-only files, does it do that every time? Or is it smart like Carbon Copy Cloner and only materialises the file again if it has changed or is newer?

@arqbackup Do you plan on supporting photo/file backup on iOS and/or Android?

@arqbackup Control. I’ve used droplr and cloudapp for years and I’m no longer subscribed, the files are probably gone now. I used ShareX on windows for a while and it was connected to an s3 bucket owned by me. Those files are still there.

@veryaustin @syntaxfm @stolinski Been trying to use CleanShot, but they dont support uploading files, only creating screenshots + videos. kind of wish someone would make something for S3/R2

@arqbackup Hi, I’m seeing files listed in the restore file list as “deleted/Kept” that are not deleted. I have upgraded to version 7.27.7 and cleared the cache but files continue to be missed. What can I do to tell arqbackup they do exist ?

@arqbackup is terribly slow uploading to OneDrive Business... I set up the backup plan 10 days ago and so far it has uploaded 170 GB only... no chance to get the full backup uploaded before it restarts... Any suggestions?

@arqbackup so… apparently v7.24 is the last version to run on Mac OS X 10.11. unfortunately this is not mentioned in the release notes. is there any possibility to bring back support for El Capitan? arqbackup.com/download/arqba…

@arqbackup after updating to macos sonoma, Arq wants an "App Password" which I don't have and never set. How can I get my backups started again? No replies from your support address.

@arqbackup seeing « Cloud file contents not present on disk » errors after upgrading to Sonoma, do I just need to materialise my iCloud files again? Just updated from 7.24.1 to 7.24.2 and will try again.
