im sorry huhu but when i hear the word “filipino,” i don’t automatically think of a masculine-presenting person bc our language isn’t built that way 😭 respectfully, if you can’t see it beyond a gendered term, you might be missing the cultural and historical context behind it 🙏

Filipino (especially Tagalog) is naturally gender-neutral.
Siya → she/he
Niya → her/his
Sa kan’ya → to him/her
Anak → son/daughter
Kapatid → brother/sister
Masyadong sanay sa kultura niyong nakabase ang kasarian sa pagpapalit ng isa o iilang mga salita. Hindi gano’n dito.
